Fall Portraits in Stone Mountain Village

Here are a few of my favorite photos from a fall fashion portfolio shoot in Stone Moutain Village for emerging makeup artist Millie O.

Dawn Teen Angel 2013

The Teen Angel Society, a new Millenium charm school, teaches girls ages 7-17 confidence, character, etiquette and leadership while participating in various community service projects. Dawn was chosen as Miss Teen Angel 2013, based on her attendance,  academic performance and community involvement. Dawn enjoys volunteering in animal shelters and working with young children in daycare centers.

Stylish Fashion Inspired Portraits from Atlanta portrait photographer

Here are a few of my latest photos from a fashion inspired portrait shoot.  You’d never guess she’s a busy mom of three who never wears make-up but always wears jeans and sneakers.  Topaz of Flair Makeup Artistry  helped to bring out her natural beauty by adding just a bit of drama on her eyes and lips. I’m developing a new portrait experience for ladies that will launch this spring. The all inclusive portrait session will feature designer clothes, hair and makeup at exclusive luxury locations.  The end result will be your very own book of styled portraits that will rival those in the pages of Essence or Vogue magazine.

Meet Jack – Atlanta Portrait Photographer

Jack is a physician and recent NYC transplant. Having a portrait session at the popular Piedmont Park is a great way to get to know the city.

Spring Portraits

Here are some favorite images from my niece and nephew’s spring portrait session. They are such hams.

Portraits in Stone Mountain

Here are some portraits from my latest photo session at Stone Mountain Park with Kiana & Martez. The last one is probably one of my favorite photos ever. I love shooting at Stone Mountain because you can never run out of locations or inspiration.

Spring Engagement Portraits in Stone Mountain

Last week I met Schimera and Kevin at Stone Mountain park for their engagement portraits. I love how you can go there and feel alone even though you’re in the middle of the city (well, suburbs) and there are thousands of visitors to the park every day. But as far as I’m concerned, Kevin & Schimera had an entire mountain and lake to themselves.

Graduation time

Congratulations to Emerson, who just graduated from high school & will be headed to the Naval Academy.

Arrin & Eduardio Roswell Mill Engagement Portraits

Here are a couple of my favorites from Arrin and Eduardio’s engagement portraits at Vickery Creek by Roswell Mill. They’re such a cute and giggly couple. I’m going to really enjoy shooting their wedding at the Ravinia Club next month.

Find the Perfect Spot to Hang Your Family Portrait

by David De Groot A family portrait can add beauty and life to your home. Where you hang a portrait can either add to or take away from its visual impact. Hang Portraits to be Seen A family portrait is meant to be adored by your own family as well as guests. The first choice to hang a portrait is usually the living room or dining room, but there are other hanging places you might not realize. Two areas often overlooked are the entrance and hallway. These are where your guests will enter and exit, and they’ll often notice whatever is hanging on the walls. An entrance is where your guests are first greeted by your home decor. Why not greet them with a beautiful family portrait? Hallways […]
