Engaged in Atlanta

I had the pleasure of photographing DeJaune and Ben, a cute couple who got engaged in Atlanta. Even though they met in high school, they weren’t high school sweethearts. Their friendship developed into a mutual attraction, then a relationship and now an engagement. I’ve always believed the best relationships start as friendships. When I asked Ben his favorite thing about DeJaune, he said “Her beautiful smile. Her whole face lights up.” I asked DeJaune the same question and she felt the same way about Ben. You can see from the engagement photos below, they both have beautiful smiles. These two just exude love and happiness. You can tell that they really enjoy each other’s company. Who else but a playful couple who really loves each other, would play Thumb Wars during an engagement shoot. We had a great time taking photos near Atlantic Station and the Millennium Gate museum. I may seem biased since I live in Stone Mountain but I really like the park because there are so many different settings and locations to shoot. I’m a bit behind on posting photos of my latest photo shoots, but I have to post some favorites from my latest engagement session. I met Abigail & Ben at the Windemere Golf Course for our whirlwind session. Next we went to Lake Lanier & hiked along Buford Dam. We ended the day at Sonic where Abigail works & first met Ben. They’re wedding is tomorrow afternoon! I can’t wait to see if they took my suggestion to have a slushy bar courtesy of Sonic (I love those cherry limeades!). They will be marrying tomorrow

Last week, I met the Keenja and Jermaine at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens for their engagement shoot. We wandered through the gardens admiring the flora, before the crowds got there. Engagement Photos at Roswell Mill

This has been perfect weather for spring engagement portraits. I met Susan and Murry at historic Roswell Square last weekend for their engagement portrait session. We also headed down the hill to take a few shots at the nearby bridge at Roswell Mill. It’s a very popular spot and we ran into several nature photographers & even another wedding couple from Ivy Hall. Susan & Murry are a really nice couple and very photogenic. Here are few of my favorite engagement photos at Roswell Mill. Roswell Square and Roswell Mill are a very popular location for engagement portraits. With Ivy Hall situated next door, there are always wedding couples there as well for portraits. During our session, there were at least two other photographers taking portraits and a nature photographer focusing on flowers.
