Choosing a Location for Spring Engagement Portraits As winter melts away, people flood the parks to take advantage of warmer temperatures.  Prime spots in popular parks, such as Piedmont Park, Stone Mountain Park or Atlanta Botanical Gardens,  are often very crowded. Your portraits may lack a romantic, intimate feel if lots of people are in the background.  Consider smaller neighborhood parks or nicely landscaped office parks as alternatives.
