Wedding flowers are just temporary?

This tip comes from Atlanta floral designer, Jeanna Bailey of Your Floral Matters. “A common misconception is that “flowers are just temporary”. Flowers provide a generous amount of beauty to a room through their appearance and fragrance. With photography flowers are forever!” I agree as I sit here on this cold March day, impatiently waiting for the arrival of spring. Looking at bouquets and floral arrangements I’ve photographed brings a smile to my face as I remember how they smelled. Confession- I smell all the bouquets and floral arrangements that I photograph.

Here are some highlights from a recent wedding at the Shamrock Community Center in Clayton County for Keisha and Tynarlo. It’s a blank slate for the bride to decorate and she did a great job using a black and white theme. I especially liked the bling on the cake, courtesy of Cakes by LaMeeka and The Fifth Wick
