Little Gardens Wedding

I had the pleasure of photographing a Little Gardens wedding a few weeks ago. It was a beautiful day in Lawrenceville, GA. I absolutely love gardens so I was excited to return to photograph this wedding. I always take a few extra photos of the landscape to use as inspiration in my garden. The bride and groom had a First Look to make sure they had enough time for romantic portraits. Their evening ceremony wouldn’t allow enough time for family and bridal party portraits and have a good variety of couple portraits. The tall hedges hide what seems to be a secret garden on the right of the front porch. This was the perfect spot for the groom to await his bride. With two photographers, we were able to capture the joy & excitement on both the bride and groom’s face as they saw each other for the first time. This is such a sweet and intimate moment that can’t be captured during the ceremony. The bride wore a gorgeous tea length wedding dress. I loved the illusion neck with embroidered bodice. Callanwolde Fine Arts Center Wedding

Last month I shot Erika and Keylan’s wedding at Callanwolde so here a very few of my favorite photos of the day. There are so many, it’s hard to narrow it down for a blog post. It’s been a while since I photographed a Callanwolde wedding so I was pleasantly surprised to see the new gardens. Many vendors contributed to making this a beautiful day. Lighting by Magnum, flowers by Perfect Petals, cake by For Goodness Cakes, and catering by Proof of the Pudding. The DJ, Twinn Productions brought something I haven’t seen in a long time – records. Everything was executed flawlessly by Toronda Williams, the wedding coordinator.

Callaway Gardens Wedding

I had the pleasure of photographing Lily & Rob’s wedding at Callaway Gardens. There were about 20 people in attendance at the ceremony, then dinner at Horse and Carriage restaurant. We took advantage of many beautiful locations around the Ida Cason Chapel and Butterfly Center for portraits. Simple and romantic were the words Lily used to describe how she wanted her photos. I hope I achieved that for her.
