Little Gardens Wedding

I had the pleasure of photographing a Little Gardens wedding a few weeks ago. It was a beautiful day in Lawrenceville, GA. I absolutely love gardens so I was excited to return to photograph this wedding. I always take a few extra photos of the landscape to use as inspiration in my garden. The bride and groom had a First Look to make sure they had enough time for romantic portraits. Their evening ceremony wouldn’t allow enough time for family and bridal party portraits and have a good variety of couple portraits. The tall hedges hide what seems to be a secret garden on the right of the front porch. This was the perfect spot for the groom to await his bride. With two photographers, we were able to capture the joy & excitement on both the bride and groom’s face as they saw each other for the first time. This is such a sweet and intimate moment that can’t be captured during the ceremony. The bride wore a gorgeous tea length wedding dress. I loved the illusion neck with embroidered bodice. Tamara and Faheem, whose engagement photos were featured on Munaluchi Bridal, were married during a romantic wedding ceremony at The Defoor Centre last month. Tamara was stunning in her custom designed pink wedding gown by local seamstress Susan Willis. The wedding couple, even the groom, was full of laughter and smiles all day. Not every bride gets to wear her dress again but Julia put her dress on for the 3rd time to participate in my portfolio shoot at Stone Mountain Park. I love her pink gown with fitted bodice and layered skirt. I am always trying to improve my craft so often take photography seminars on topics such as lighting, posing or post processing. Here are a few photos of my latest wedding at the The Carter Center. The staff at the Carter Center and Proof of the Pudding made the day go smoothly for the couple and for us. Kristina was stunning in her Vera Wang gown. There are so many beautiful locations for portraits on the grounds and I’m only featuring a few of them. I’d love to have this Japanese garden in my backyard.
