Little Gardens Wedding

I had the pleasure of photographing a Little Gardens wedding a few weeks ago. It was a beautiful day in Lawrenceville, GA. I absolutely love gardens so I was excited to return to photograph this wedding. I always take a few extra photos of the landscape to use as inspiration in my garden. The bride and groom had a First Look to make sure they had enough time for romantic portraits. Their evening ceremony wouldn’t allow enough time for family and bridal party portraits and have a good variety of couple portraits. The tall hedges hide what seems to be a secret garden on the right of the front porch. This was the perfect spot for the groom to await his bride. With two photographers, we were able to capture the joy & excitement on both the bride and groom’s face as they saw each other for the first time. This is such a sweet and intimate moment that can’t be captured during the ceremony. The bride wore a gorgeous tea length wedding dress. I loved the illusion neck with embroidered bodice. Washington DC couple Michelle and Grady were married in Atlanta on New Year’s Eve at Villa Christina. Luckily the weather cooperated so they could have a beautiful evening wedding under the stars.

A Backyard Wedding

Wesley and Katrice had a beautiful backyard wedding earlier this month. Katrice spent much of the past year working on several DIY projects like the flower tissue balls which decorated the ceremony. The handmade fans, a must for any outdoor summer wedding, doubled as a program and featured engagement photos from yours truly. The candy buffet was a huge hit at their reception. There were several unique touches like their wedding cake decorated with Atlanta & NYC skylines, their hometowns or the dance her cousins choreographed which told the story of how they met and got engaged. Here are a few photos highlighting their day.

Atlanta Wedding of Destiny and Chase

Destiny and Chase were married at a beautiful Italian villa in the Tuscany Hills neighborhood in Douglasville. Despite the heat, everyone had a good time dancing all night. There were so many spontaneous moments, it was hard to narrow down my favorite few.

Last month, I tagged along with the talented Virginia from Moment by Moment Photography and shot this gorgeous wedding at Montaluce Winery in Dahlonega, GA. Despite the constant rain and the blowout I had on the way there, I had a great time shooting with Virginia. This venue is breathtaking and it’s almost impossible to take a bad photo here. Nick and Whitney, Piedmont Room Wedding

Here are some highlight from Nick and Whitney’s beautiful wedding in the garden tent at the Piedmont Room. It was a beautiful yet hot day, but the Groom’s ice cream cake helped to cool things down. Everything went off without a hitch thanks to Emma at The Whole Shebang. The floral design is by A Bokay by JoAnn.

Arrin & Eddie at the Ravinia Club

Arrin & Eddie had a morning ceremony in the gardens of the Ravinia Club in Dunwoody. It was the perfect setting for the colorful bouquets & bridesmaids dresses which was reminiscent of her home in the islands. The bouquets were by Flowers so Beautiful & wedding cakes was courtesy of Cakes by La’Meeka.
